About Me

I was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and moved to Boone, Iowa when I was six years old. I graduated from Boone High School, where I was involved in swimming and tennis.

I recently graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor's degree in advertising and an event management minor. While at Iowa State, I gained valuable skills that will help further my career. These skills include Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Excel and Canva. In addition to my technical skills, I have grown in my professional development skills. These skills include leadership, collaboration and time management. I interned at The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in West Des Moines, Iowa from February 2022 to July 2022. While interning at CFF I gained experience in professional communication. My roles at my internship included creating social media posts, scheduling social media posts, creating a fundraising theme/idea for the month of April, conducting a media analysis, updating fundraising information & much more.

Aside from school, I love to travel and explore new cities and countries. Some of the most remarkable places I have been include Hawaii, Costa Rica and Turks and Caicos. I have a houseplant obsession and would love to work for a plant company or be around plants someday. I enjoy visiting thrift stores to find unique items to add to my home. In my downtime, I read or binge-watch TV shows.
