My Ethics Code
A code of ethics is a system of moral principles. What you'll see below is my personal ethics code that I abide by in all of my career opportunities.
Honesty
"A fairness and straightforwardness of conduct"
Being honest is an important ethic to have. It helps strengthen relationships in the workplace. Voicing the truth helps identify the issues and work better as a team.
Attitude
"Being optimistic about situations, interactions and yourself"
Maintaining a proper attitude no matter the circumstances shows leadership and control. A positive attitude gets the work done while motivating others to do the same.
Self Awareness
"Conscious knowledge of one's own character, feelings, motives and desires"
The state of having control over my actions, feeling and thoughts. Being self-aware in the workplace allows me to react to situations in a calm and professional manner.
Fairness
"Impartial and just treatment or behavior without favoritism or discrimination"
Treating people with fairness in the workplace allows for a positive work environment. Fairness creates increased employee productivity.
Work Ethic
"The principle that hard work is intrinsically virtuous or worthy of reward"
Having a strong work ethic allows me to hold up the values and goals of the company while performing the job to the best of my ability.
Teamwork
"The combined action of a group of people, especially when effective and efficient"
Teamwork allows everyone to come together to freely share their ideas, skills and experiences to build something new and unique. Working together allows teams to find the best possible solution.
